Creating new concepts in Germany with Optik Jahn
Thorsten Jahn, known in the optical branch for his concepts like Smile Optic and Optik Jahn, holds a strong optical retail philosophy. The consumer makes the decision, and we as opticians contribute. The interior of the store should not distract but simply make the process swift and effortless.
To translate his philosophy into the store design, Thorsten came to us for a complete remodel of his store in Euskirchen. He believes colours translate core values. And so, together with our design team, we perfected the colour palette with Thorsten here in Haarlem at Topvision Headquarters.
The store’s colour palette changed from primarily white to one with tints such as Bordeaux red, beige, and hints of gray to welcome customers in an open and warm space.
Further, the eyewear displays needed to be in line with Thorsten's philosophy and Optik Jahn's values. This meant an open layout that was accessible with ease and visible to everyone. To accomplish this we placed our Carré shelving units and Stilo displays with backlight, which are non-locked displays, giving the client the freedom to roam around and try glasses to find something they like.
The joy and satisfaction of people like the retail manager when we visited Optik Jahn in Germany for a shoot of the end result is what we do it for. These individuals are in the store all day and truly experience the improvements we try to make together.

Stilo FD
The FD (Flying Dutchman) version of the Stilo optical frame holders is moulded in one piece with its own temple supports, and does not have to be connected to adjacent frame holders, allowing total creative freedom of your frame grid.
